Templeport St. Aidan’s G.F.C. has
a long history of Gaelic football dating back to 1888 with
the formation of the successful Bawnboy Gallowglasses. The
current Templeport St. Aidan's G.A.A Club was founded on
11th December 1910. Over the years the club has won one
Senior Football Championship (1923), four Senior Leagues,
four Intermediate Championships and six Junior Championships.
In underage football they have won three County Titles at
U16, five at U14 and three at U12.
The club is currently in a period of exceptional
growth. 2005 saw the opening of templeport’s long
anticipated new facilities. The development includes two
state of the art pitches and a new clubhouse complete with
function room and modern changing facilities. The successful
project provides Templeport G.F.C. with the means to flourish
in the years to come. More information here
In parallel the official launch of Templeport
G.F.C new grounds is the launch of templeportgfc.com, our
official club website. The purpose of this site is to provide
members, affiliates and supporters with weekly up-to-date
